These ratings assume a normal solo Repentance run, an early-to-mid-game pickup, and no special synergy. They are editorial judgments, not an official or community ranking. Repentance+ balance changes are not included.

Every individual pickup has its own written rating and explanation, based on its effects, reliability, risks, recharge or slot cost, and likely usefulness over the rest of a run. Trinkets and consumables are rated within their own categories: an S-tier card is an excellent card, not equivalent to an S-tier permanent item. Mixed reference tables such as the pill lists and Dice Rooms show Varies because their effects have opposing values.
These are original editorial judgments informed by gameplay documentation and cross-checks, not measured win rates or community consensus. Assume the item is available to take; rarity is not a penalty. Pickup price, your character, current weapon, health, route and remaining floors can change the decision. No rare synergy is assumed.
All 1,021 entries have an item-specific player-evidence review. Sources include exact placements in A Talentless F2P’s personal vanilla Repentance tier list, experienced players’ ranking discussions, dedicated item discussions, and consumable polls. The streaker’s list judges a weak run around floors 3–4. Its precise movement and resource strategies sometimes differ from ordinary play. We compare those judgments with current mechanics and other player evidence, rather than converting the source’s numbers into letters. A source link can therefore disagree with our final grade. Player experience claims are self-reported; community comments and polls are not an expert panel.
